yeh exactly

which would point to an overall fuelling problem, not an individual injector. a problem which should come up on the AFRs. bcos if theres supposed to be heaps of fuel according to the o2 sensor where is it all coming from? its not goin through the combustion chamber...

is it possible that the dyno is faulty? (maybe a dumb question)

I'd better clean my engine pipes out before I go. They have almost 100,000kms of engine blow by crap in them. even the bleeder valve has sludge coming out of it.

cbf sifting through 120 posts to check, but wouldnt it be fair to get a dyno figure of the "current" state of tune, after all this is the state of tune you recorded your times in.

No cheating!

The dyno I had done 230rwhp @4700rpm with ping issue, IS the state of tune I ran the 13.3 with.

I cbf looking up the threads that contain the details of the night at the drags story, it contains the description of the symptoms I have still got today.

Plugs are white in modern engines unless very rich so be carefull

reading plugs if you don't know what to look for.

The sensors fine and changed often and this week we've had

heaps of race cars on the Dyno for the 2 day event and some

have made big HP and not broken so the sensors good but will

need to be replaced after the all Avgas.

my plugs showed no signs of leanout, so it makes the problem even more wierd. It's possible still that one piston is running out of injector flow at the ping rpm.

I've gapped the 7s down to 0.7mm now and will see if this helps any.

I cleaned the intercooler, it had a reasonable although thin coating of blow-by oil in it. So that should help a little.

When my back (now completely stuffed) has healed I will change the fuel filter and I'll think about the upper plenum removal so I can get at the injectors.

I know what you're saying Rob but I tend to disagree.

Rev210's car has a stock turbo, intercooler etc. With only boost and safc I doubt any r33 could record 208Kw at the tyres on a properly calibrated dyno...
