hi guys,

i read somewhere that the sr20det injectors will directly replace the lower cc rb25det injectors. both being side flow injectors... rb25det flowing only 370cc/min and sr20det flowing 420cc/min (stock). can someone confirm this.. if this is not true, what about a subaru wrx injectors or a rx7 side flow injectors? i'm just looking for good cheap higher flowing injectores i can scavange from other engines.

thank yall in advance.

JDM 200SX S15 manuals have 440 cc injectors, all others have 370 cc's same as RB25DET.

As far as I know RB25DET injectors are unique in their dimensions. For example, Toyota 1JZ and 2JZ injectors are side feed, but you would need to make adaptor rings for them fit the RB25DET inlet manifold. The SARD side feed injectors are actually designed for 1/2JZ's that's why they need adaptor rings.

From what I have seen WRX's come with at least 3 different styles of injectors, 2 different top feed styles and one side feed style. None of them are the same as RB25's

If you are going to the trouble of making adaptor rings, you might as well use top feed injectors, plenty to choose from then.

:teehee: Cheers

manual turbo s15 200sx's, australian and jdm versions both have 480cc injectors (less depending on quoted fuel rail pressure).

hey guys,

thanx for the info.....this means i need to find 1 and a half s15 engines to scavange these injectors from... have you guys heard about the rx 7 injectors???

also does this mean that if i could make adaptors i could plug and play those 1jz/2jz injectors not worrying about the wiring and voltage...?
