Reeece came to Australian to set the record because the tracks in NZ are not prepared to a sufficient standard. Even here he black tracked it for whole 1/4.

the problem with lakeside dragway in taupo is that its rather high altitude wise there. we will see some great racing but a new record is unlikely

With the amount of money they put into R&D I don't think so.When the car ran in Australia it did'nt break once while they were they're and thats one of the stickiest tracks in the world.

Remember that Reese Family businees is in Thermal Processing of Steal and other Metals ,alot of there driveline is done in house , So they know a thing or two about how to make things tuff as nails .
