anyway, if you want to be creative .. how about you re design the air box so that you have the box, when you open it you see a panel .. under the panel you have a false floor containing a bod filter with CAI leading hidden up into the bottom of the box.

if the cop knows what hes doing he will pick it.. but if hes just llooking thru the engine bay he wont notice.

I always led to believe that they were a defect because of induction noise.

But his since been told that is a fire safety issue due to a chance of backfire with fire been exposed in engine bay. So a pod in a box or sealed cold air partion, should be legal.

I have a K&N and find it funny that is your read the fine print you will find that it is meant for race vehicles not road cars.

I was thinking about something like that with the pod in the box, but there is very little room in the box to fit a pod I will look into it a bit more

As for pod in the box .. doenst really matter how big because you will a pipe directly feeding to it.
