there's nothing in the way of it on an RB25DET, so in theory yours should have even less in the way...its right down in there, not exactly easy to get at, and it'll probably be covered in shit....so you'll need to wipe it down to be able to read it

They probably just farked it up on the RWC anyway...your car has an RB25 in it so I wouldn't be too worried..

When I got my RWC (being the first time it was registered in Aus) the RWC place left off the 'RB' part of the engine number.....I didn't notice. Rocked up to my appointment at vic roads and he sent me on my way, and made me book a new appointment just because of that. Had to get a re-write on my RWC etc

thing is, this guy wants to buy it and wants to find out about it so i gave him the vin and the engine number that was on the rwc that i got with the car. then he says he called and the engine number doesnt match the vin :P

could be just a typo....? i'll tell the guy to put RB25088570A instead of RB20088570A and see if its right
