A turbocharger is made up of a compressor and turbine linked by a shaft. I'd be careful here as someone who has half a technical clue could bust you on it - compressors for refrigeration don't use turbines to power them.

You're correct. It was really a case of negotiating with the guy at the delivery centre when I picked it up. They seem to have a fair bit of discretion if you can supply a convincing arguement. You win some and lose some I guess.

i was under the impression that the 2835 pro s kit from nengun was actually the full kit, and not just the turbo... can anyone who actually got theirs from nengun confirm? also i've read a few things on nengun people say it takes a while but you will get the stuff eventually... is this the general feeling?

just re-read the nengun site... clearl only the turbo... what else is incorporated in a kit... eg what am i missing out on if you buy from nengun.

and has anyone dealt with greenline on the same turbo?

Picked mine up for $1500 with a spare larger exhaust housing and ive had it inspected and ive been told its in top notch.

Ive seen a few around but they seem to get snapped up pretty quickly!

damn thats cheap... where did you find that... also are there any major problems getting one second hand, i mean if you get it checked for shaft play etc.?
