Dam Dickeads, Somone Reversed Into My Car

Recommended Posts

My worst fears about parking at ZINIFEX have come true, firstly last week somone scratched my car door with their door, and this morning after comming back to my car, the car infront of me reversed into my front bumper. Repair cost $420 and unless i find that persons number plate, there is nothing i can do. I have rang the Police and Insurance, and unless i can find the person who did it, I am out of pocket. I rang ZINIFEX to check if anyone had reported anything and no one has, we have been through the survailance tapes and can't find the person responsible as the camera was pointing the wrong way.

I parked my car in the main carpark as instructed the only place that was free, that was not 25 minuts walk away.

If anyone works at ZINIFEX or know somone who has a red old ford, check the rear bumper for scratches of wine red paint on it.

Somone keep an eye out.

The damage is nothign but paint, and a bit of missalignment, but that's not the point. If i catch that asshole, his ass is mine. I have MANY heavy hitting friends. Plus the cops are after him.

I have already been back to check if he was back at work, will continiue to do so everyday till i find him.

Plus the cops are after him.

Come on, they can't catch people who drive around for days at a time in stolen cars on main roads, what hope do you think there is of them getting some dude who scraped yours?

Your "hard pipe hittin' niggaa" friends will be the go.

I hope you do get hold of the dude. Both sides of my car have copped supermarket and uni carpark "rubbing", including pushing in the drivers quarter panel and door by 1/2" along most of it once. Unfortunately all I ever got as evidence of it was the dings and deposited paint. Most annoying part is when I think that I need minor panel work/paint done on left front and rear quarters, right rear quarter, boot lid, front bar, and bonnet, adding both doors really means I may as well get a full f**king respray as the roof is about the only bit that doesn't need touching.

    • Hi soviet_merlin, We appreciate your concern regarding this possibly being some sort of PR/Political hype, I assure you that is not the case, I wish we could claim something like that, but in this case, we merely reached out for comment on the basis of the outrage we too felt, as those heavily in the automotive industry. Ps. the original source in the social media post is CarExpert not CarExplore.    Best, CE.
    • Made a bit of a discovery, but while I was cruising, I randomly decided to test to see if it worked and it showed up on my IC7. The entire time I tested it before, I never thought to turn the ignition on. I only tested it with head lights turned on but with the ignition off. Huge oversight on my end. I’m a dummy. I know.
    • G'day all, I have drilled and tapped the hole for the relocation of the timing belt tensioner. That was straight forward. I'm unsure if I need to also put another hole for the smaller stud that the spring behind the tensioner catches on (this is how it seems to work in its original spot). Or do you not use the spring behind it and just torque it down? Thanks in advance, I did a search but couldn't find anything related and it doesn't mention it in the rb30det sau guide.
    • Hi All,  just thought I would provide an update as I know smooth (Matt) was on this forum from 2003.    my brother Matthew passed away end of may 2024 at the age of 41 from liver failure. I am not sure how many of his original team krazy friends are still on here or active but thought it reasonable to let the forum know.    if you have any photos or pictures it would be great if you could share them.    it took me a while to work out he was active on here.    thanks so much
