Porting Head?

hey

i gota rb20 with gt30 0.63 rear housing, external gate, microtech, plenem. all the bullshit but internals are stock. full boosts about 5grand. will porting the head and cams bring boost on much quicker? will it have decent power jump? or other option put a stock rb25 in it with my gear on it.(change plenum etc obviosly)

I ported only the exhaust side of my rb26 head, to match exhaust manifold etc etc because the ports were smaller than the manifolds, and this reduced lag noticably.

Alot of tuners will tell you that porting anything more than that will be a backwards step because the ports are already very well shaped and sized etc from factory.

fullboost was 17 psi
