Hi guys

I could not see a thread relating to this (though I could have looked right past it).

I was just wandering if anyone has had their imported car cleared with Customs in one state then taken to another state for compliance? If so, have you had any trouble with DOTARS in relation to clearing it and complying it in different states?

It won't be a problem, since they are two separate things. Nothing needs to be 'cleared' with DOTARS when you bring the car through Customs.

Sorry I should have said any problems with Customs doing Customs clearance in one state and DOTARS authorising the compliance clearance in another state (as in compliance workshop being in another state). I know that sounds confusing, just been doing work for both companies today so it is all muddled in my head hehe.

Nope that is fine. Like I said, two diff govt departments and two separate processes. Won't be an issue.
