Hey all,

The time has come to chase some more power :)

A.T.M I have 600cc injectors on the stock rail with a adj regulator in there and they have max'ed out on 17psi, so I'm after larger ones... looking at getting 800cc or 1000cc ones.

I've read cases of 1000cc injectors having idle'ing issues and can tend to 'drip' on idle? Has anyone using large injectors encountered this? is it even true or does it all come down to the tune?

I would like around 600-650awhp...

I think I did the sums right and the injectors should flow enough HP with the injector size.

800cc - 910bhp - 637awhp

1000cc - 1150bhp - 805awhp

I would like to get the 1000s for the 'safety' of having more flow/using less duty, but if it is going to more hassle than its worth I'll go a set of 800s.

Blitz 1000cc Injectors

Also will the stock fuel rail be up to the job with a nismo adj regulator? Seeing as the stock rail seems to have a larger inner diametre compaired to the aftermarket ones....

Thanks

what power are you getting now to max out 600cc injectors, especially at 17psi

are you sure its not a fuel pump issue causing the duty cycle to be higher do to reduced flow from the pump?

I'm making 479hp @ all 4 on 17psi. The injectors were at 98% duty with a single intank 044.

600cc injectors should do more than 479hp, ur running to little fuel pressure, and yes running such large injectors as 1000cc will cause idling issues as the fuel wont be injected in as much atomised form as you would with 600cc with higher fuel pressure, many people make the mistake of running larger injectors than needed for their power needs , especially for a road car if idling is a concern.

get a rising rate fuel reg such as a malpassi etc, trust me youll get way more out of your 600cc injectors

its pretty much 1hp = 1cc for the 6 cyc.

800cc = 800hp, that allows for a bit of headroom aswell and takes into account enrichment and that sorta thing for acceleration.

Yo might get more if you bump rail pressures and what not.

If you want 650rwhp, you want the 800's, and what they dont make, just knock a couple psi of pressure into the rail
