hey guys i bought a gfb m.b.c , before i attempt to install it - i was wondering with the tension adjustment - for controlling boost , what is the safest way to adjust to the amount of boost i want .

do i have the allen key adjustment bolt - tightened so its tight - and just slowly adjust in increments?

how much psi should i boost it to? at the moment i get around 9 - 10 psi stock in 3rd gear

im running a 3 inch turbo back exhaust + screamer pipe + hi flow cat etc , pod filter , fmic ,

stock turbo btw -

some light shed would be apreciated !!! thanks

The best way to do this is as follows. Steel your grandpas blood pressure monitor cut off the squeeze pump at the end. Get yourself a boost guage with a psi range, tee it into line with a tee fitting and connect your control to the other end of the tee. Set the control mid range, squeeze the pump gently and keep an eye on the guage when you hear it let go check the guage this is your boost pressure.
