Hi, I have an R32 GTS4. It runs about 190kw at the rear wheels (when run in rear wheels).

I have a three puck Exedy HD clutch which was installed March 2005 (21 months ago). I have not driven the car hard in the last 21 months (maybe done 1 liney during that time) but alot of driving in traffic.

Dricving tonight on the motorway at 110 kph in 5th gear I accelerated and found that my revs went up but my speed did nothing. This sounds like slippage to me.

The wierd thing is that my clutch point seems very high, I hardly need to apply any pressure to the pedal to change gears.

Is my clutch f'd (I should think not) or does my clutch need some type of adjustment? If so how would I go able this?

Thanks,

Ben.

You need to get under the car and see if theres any freeplay in the clutch fork.

if there is then your clutch is gone.

if its tight. like you cant evan jiggle it. then your clutch master clylinder is over adjusted. is there abit of flop in the clutch padal?

or you need a thinner thrust bearing carier on the gearbox.

those button clutches ware out really fast. :P
