RX7 are renowned for their tight cornering ability. I have a soft spot for them for some reason . I think the MCR car was retired not long after that and replaced with a porsche

The FD3S is probably one of the greatest drift cars ever built. R34s are great on drag strips but when cornering comes into play, the fd3s wins hands down...

I can't wait to see how the new gtr will be like!

The MCR R34 had too much power for the touge stage, The RE RX7 is a fully striped out thing with a basically standard motor.

The MCR R34 will totally decimate it around a circuit

Ferni,come to a renew/saunsw track day at wakefield park to see some bloody quick rx's. Maybe the GTR driver needs some leasons,,,what did he say "these speeds are scary".

Keichi Tsuchiya (driver of the R34) is actually a very famous driver in japan with a nickname of "drift king" (forget need for speed, this is the real deal). This may be bad to say in a skyline forum (i'm an r33 owner myself!), but let's face it: in a race like this, it's not the power of a car which wins a race, but the handling and balance, and the FD3S has a proven track record of that.
