Series 1 - R33 Headlights

After some help or advice...

My headlights have silver internals (around the two main lamps!) as most four doors do, but I want to switch to black internals. I'm not sure if there is anyone who would like to swap. Assuming that nobody is interested, how do I go about cracking into the headlight internals so I can spray them gloss black. They seem pretty well sealed.

I've heard that soarer lights and some others can be opened by putting them in an oven on 160degrees, but I don't know how long for. Besides, I have a friend who did that and gets moisture in them now!!!

What should I do? Can't afford to buy the black internal ones - they're over $400 a set!!!

Ideas, anyone!!!

They are sealed. You need a new light.

Good luck. I've had no end of trouble look for headlights.

pitty ur in brisbane man cause i wanna swap my black head lights for the chrome.

why do u want to change them? are they in shit condition?

i personaly think the chrome insides look heaps better than the black.
