Boost Question....

hi ppl my car is a r34 turbo auto, when im in park i rev it but it does not come on boost....... is this normal??...... my friends r33 does boost when reving on the spot.........

boost is created by engine load, not revs. if you can load the engine up on the spot, it will make some small amount of boost or whistle pressure noise.

in the manual u can ride the clutch and engage it a bit and rev and the engine will make some load, enough to make it whistle a bit but not take off

Yes, it's normal, unless you're not getting any boost even at second or third gear.

No, the boost gauge is just moving around vaccum etc.

You might make "1psi" but then, his gauge could be stuffed and giving incorrect info
