About To Buy An R32 Couple Of Questions

Hi my name is Josh and I'm about to purchase and R32 GTS-T and would like some advice. I have used the buyers guide and found it to be extremerly helpful. The car I am buying is an 89 model so its getting farily old. Was just wondering if I should repair or replace certain parts that my be getting weaker with age in the coming months. From reading the forums it seems that the fuel pumps on the 32 can die fairly easily. Anything else I should be on the lookout for?

Look for evidence the timing belt has been replaced.

If you can't be sure do it anyway.
