Converting Standard Bov To Atmo

Hey Guys,

Will taking the return pipe off the standard BOV convert it to an atmo bov? (as long as I block it off at the intake end)

BTW...I'm not doing it for shits and giggles.....my car is still fluttering after plumbing back my stock bov after an intake pipe install, and I just need to narrow it down to whether my BOV is functioning properly or not.

no, the springs are weak and are meant to pull open on idle and re-circulate.

buy proper atmo BOV if thats what you need, otherwise, keep plumb-back and forget the extra cost for no gains.

Kennedy - Cant you borrow someone else's?

They are that cheap to purchase anyhow, less than $35 i think.

Also ensure all the VAC lines are on correctly.
