R32 weight is 1480kg, R33 1520 and R34 1540(just the plain GTR models)

well according to my hpi mag

but the new hsv GTS commo's(6.0L) do 0-100kmph in 4.9 secs apparently, thats a lil scary for a standard V8

v spec r34 have another 20kgs! i don't know what from but i'm guessing the front air splitter!

yeah under 5 sec to 100kph is pretty good for v8's because imagine the 3rd or 4th gear accelleration!

Lol my Mum drives a Vt V8 commy, so yeh i reckon its a laugh all these tough guys in thre V8 commodores when my mum drives one lol (and no she isnt some big fat bogan either lol)

My uncle has a VT II 250i Manual Clubsport I think it is.

It goes ok does awesome no brake burnouts due to its long first gear but really it doesn't go that hard, first time I drove it I was massively disappointed. I've had a few plays with it and it is rather slow compared to mine.

But its stock, mine isn't.

The LS1's do go pretty damn hard with a few mods. I'm sure Chops's Calais will shock the hell out of a lot of us rwd boys. :)

4wd vs rwd.. well its takes a LOT of power to catch and pass a car that has accelerated fast at low speed even if the 4wd is down 100-150rwkw.

and don't forget average power. Its like comparing a 200rwkw rb20 to a 200rwkw rb25. Or even better a 200rwkw rb25 to a 200rwkw rb30. :)

    • I did some research, considering you have a neo engine, how is that battery compatible? I checked centuries website and super cheap and says it's not compatible. Only this full size one is. https://www.centurybatteries.com.au/products/ns60-mf
    • No, lets be honest here. I went to Winton and did a track day, for all the mods and V8 power and craziness I posted up a time that a K24 stock motor Honda Accord can do on the same tyres (narrower, too) 250kw and learning how to drive the f**kin thing is the sweet spot.
    • While that's true, that is the only thing that those cars can do. Whereas a car like ours can also weigh 500kg less, and take a corner properly without risk of punching a hole in the concrete barrier when it lets go. Oh, and sound good. Oh, and not just be a mobile iPad.
    • Nah, that's the video I was referring to! I want to see you have a proper crack this time, unlike at 2:20 in that video where you are just taking it easy! What do you reckon it'll do at Wakefield? 1:03 ish?
    • This is where what you want is a Barra 4L. I had the FG XR6T for a few years. It made bulk power, and so stupidly effortlessly. But if you want true amazing power that's incredible in traffic light GPs or getting into a gap in traffic, you can't beat an EV...
