Hello,

As topic states, im aftetr the stock dvd tv satnav cd player thingo, mine was stolen durin import and can't afford decent one to fill the gap, firgured may as well chuck a stock one back in!

I know most people swap them to something decent because they supposedly dont play alot.....

If you're referring to the xanavi unit, I'd give it a miss.

The tv unit doesn't work without plugging in a portable PAL tuner that can output to NTSC (possibly cheaper to just buy a portable tv).

The satnav doesn't work in aus either. Also cheaper to just buy an aftermarket satnav unit than to try get the stock one working here. As far as I know no one has done it yet.

It also doesn't play dvd's so its basically a fancy cd player and climate control setup. For that it does work well - I have this unit in my stagea - and I believe the r34's had the same one as an option. It looks good etc. but if I had to replace it I'd get the single climate control unit and an aftermarket head unit and use the spare slot for some mounted guages. Just my preference

if he was going to get a good screen, tv tuner, sat nav setup it will cost him anywhere between 3 to 8 grande depending what shit goes in the car. if someone can help him and give him what he wants then cool, if not then mate ur gonna have to shop around. maybe skip the tv altogether.
