Power Gain From Catback

did a search couldnt find nothing specific...... just got a 3inch mandrel cat back exhaust, hot dog resonator and 3 inch strate through rear muffler..... its a tad loud! anyway in a r34 gtt neo engine how many kw extra at motor have i gained..... cat and front pipe are stock.... cars feels better but then again might be becos its louder!

just a cat-back, the general consensus on the forums is about 15rwkw

you will find you will probably gain another 15rwkw with a good front/dump pipe as well, which is probably a better upgrade in my opinion than a cat-back

15kw sounds fair.....i will be doing the high flow steel cat and front pipe next..... is the dump descent in a neo or worth upgrading?

Cat back? more like 10-15rwkw at most, thats around the figure I gained.

Why? R34 cat backs are already 2.5" unlike in R33 and S15s which seem to have smaller stock exhausts.

Yeah 10-15rwkw. Stock front and dumps are crap. You'll get another 5-10rwkw from that but free up the top 1500rpm nicely.

10% gain from cat back, but that not definite cause im not sure how restrictive the 34 catback is. open her right up with a plit dump and 3" right through, really help her breathe
