Anyone know how to reset the ecu without disconnecting the battery? I have a cyclops p355/375/385 alarm (dunno which one cant find the install invoice for it) and when I disconnect the battery, even after disarming the alarm, it sets the siren off. Anyone have any idea's? If I cant reset the ecu properly the new filter I put on will have to come off till I get a new ecu :)

or reset using the grey plug that hides up under the dash... pull the cover off the fuse panel to the right of the steering wheel and use a small piece of wire to short out the ECU diagnostic port and reset it. no battery disconnecting required

geees you get up early rob!

just try the shorting out method - takes 2 seconds with a paperclip, the engine check light on dash will light up and flash the diagnostic code at you, and you're away! tucked up above the main dash fuse panel.....
