Back to the exhaust talk and pics for a sec a few weeks back...

Got to exprience the car as a passenger in the rear seats, as a driver the exhaust seems to be just loud and it just hums in your ear.

I always thought it would be a killer for the rear passengers.

Sat at the back today while i let someone else try and it was normal, it was fine :nyaanyaa:

As long as i can bare with the exhaust, i don't care anymore  woohoo!

Oh, and for the first time today the rear right wheel i heard scrub going around a corner. But there were 3 people in the rear.

BTW! nice cars to everyone above.

The R34 with Meisters looks nice. The front looks of too much white. The 2 bottom lips would look better black. (IMO). My lip is and the front diffuser when i find it will remain black aswell.

nice looking car you have there grant. If you dont mind me asking, how much were those rims, they look amazing on the car. (my r34 is about as low as yours now :) )

just off the topic, i do like the look of no wing from the front and side, but i dont think i liek the look from the ass

Pm'ed on the wheels dude

Cheers for the comment aswell, as Basti said, it needs a deeper rear bar and the side skirts to complete the look. If you take spoilers off, usually you have to ad something down low so the the rear doesnt look so small.

Nismo skirts for the side and the Nismo S tune rear bar and my car will suit the no spoiler look alot more im hoping. oh and as usual it looks alot better in real life then in the pics. R34s look so boxy in pics, but i think you have to see them in real life to notice they are not so basic in design ;)

Me and mate were chilling at his place and he had these 20s (20 x 9) lying around so we decided to chuck em on the 34 to see if it will fit.

Despite having rolled guards and such, they fit under the guards, but the rear bar will be hit if the shocks compress ie. speed hump or such.

Now I am planning on getting some similar wheels the same size, just not as wide this weekend - I think 8s should fit without posing threat to snapping the rear bar.

Looks super fat though on the dirty dirty black car...

or these:

mmm... both nice, but I think I prefer the ones pictured on your car.

They also look a little less common than the other ones.

i couldn't be bothered making a new thread to ask, and i figured majority of veiwers in this thread actually own R34s, just wondering, when u brake, ((when the lights are off) how many rear taillights come on, and which ones.

i saw a r34 the other day and he had the opposite taillights to me working when braking :D

    • If you are fine with China turbos, Maxpeedingrods makes a bolt on turbo. Ive had mine for two summers now and it seems to be holding up ok.
    • Howdy all Im in a little predicament and wondering what everyone’s thoughts are? I’ve had my long block rebuilt and am in the market for a turbo due to my old one having metal shavings from crank bearings (cause of rebuild) go throughout the turbos oil lines and there wheel has a little play. I’m not really aiming for any power, just trying to keep it as oem as possible, but I can’t find a turbo that’s built for the stock ecu or find something that would be a standard replacement. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions
    • How's everyone going? Just a shout-out introducing myself. I'm James, I live on the north side of Brisbane. I bought an R33 that had been left to rot in someone's front yard for 14 years. Apparently, it has immobiliser/fuel issues. Long story short, it's suffering from a seized engine, plus whatever else turns up once it runs. The car is pretty good considering it sat for so long. It pretty much died after being imported. It has a bunch of Jap parts and a full Top Secret body kit. It's painted Fiat Turchese Festival, or aqua blue if you're not French. Another project to throw money at!
    • So the clockspring is responsible for the indicators cancelling on their own? I thought that was the function of that white thing in the center (any idea what it's called?)
    • Can you log IAT? Whilst WTA coolers have their place, doing any sort of sustained run is not one of them There are fixes that slow down the heat soak, like ice boxes, which don't last that long, and interchillers, which are fairly expensive, up grades to the WTA cooling radiator, which may require a bigger pump, and upgrades to the reservoir size,  and upgrades to the cooling fans, but, it all still heat soaks, and takes ages to come down in hot weather  For a turbo, that isn't locked into WTA like my PD blower is, can you not possibly swap to a nice air to air intercooler????, it would be better for sustained runs then, and have alot less things that could go wrong in my opinion
