WUT?

You can't imagine THIS ^^^ on the front of a Car Mag?

Lol

What daughter wouldn't invite this guy home!

Her Mum would ask him in for dinner!

Her Dad would want a ride - and boast the next day to his neighbour what kind of car he had in his driveway!

Hey guys, here's a photo of my 34 GTV....

GTV's are pretty rare so if you don't know what they are,

it's basically a GTT without the turbo (yes I'm on my P's)

Has HICAS, GTT brakes, suspension, sway bars, strut brace etc.

It is my daily and everything is still stock...

but hoping to get some wheels and a bit of low soon! ;)

Shaun, I know that car wash place, but not so sure about the shopping centre...

Your 34 does look amazing, but I'll need to see it in person to confirm :P

Cheers,

The underground car park is the new one at K-Mart Burwood.

White rims look really terrific on the BsB body Shaun - especially as you clean behind the spokes too.

Uuughhhh, it is the bane of my existence!!

The stupid thing is it must be running a street pad in the front and race compound in the rear as I can only do 20 to 30kmn before the rears start going black, by the time I have done 70 to 80km the front and rear are all dirty, but the rear by a lot more.

I am going to look at getting the Endless SSM pads for on the street and see how they go, but the rears at the moment are killing me!

Well your efforts don't go unnoticed.

If the missus tells you to clean the shower screen, the toilets and the kitchen floor, just point to the brake-dusted cleaning cloth over your left shoulder and say, "Sorry love, get in the queue!"

hehe...

Hi shaun,

just wondering about the carbon on the rear bumpber of your car....is that a one peice thing? or is it carbon wrap?

cheers.

Hi Mate,

That is a one piece carbon mold that you clip / double side tape to the car.

Mine is a "Superior Auto Creative" version from RHD Japan, but I think that one is discontinued?

You can get them on Ebay.

When white is a tad dirty, it looks filthy.

When it's clean and shiny, it looks angelic!

And when it's the white R34 GTR, it's angelically super tough like above!!!

Congrats guys :)

How come you didn't travel down for Nationals Terry  ?

    • For something like this, I'd skip just going for the cheapest, I'd find the place with the best experiences people have had, especially for restoration work. Like everything, there is upholsterers, and then there is upholsterers. Some really great upholsterers for automotive restos won't even appear to have an online presence.   My guide would be find some of the old school classic cars that have been fully restored and are immaculate, and ask the people who own them who did the work on their seats
    • Might be tricky matching the seat trim material  If your got the funds you "may" want to get the rear re-trimed as well to match the front
    • How much is it to re-uploster?  Well that's a "how longs a piece of string?" question !  And I answer thusly: "twice half its length! " . . . . . .  Seriously you'll have to chase multiple quotes for that one from different uphlostrerereres !  Ask around, in your area and on the forums, chase reviews and most of all see the finished product in person cause photoshop is a wonderful thing !
    • Hey everyone!!  I've noticed that whenever I do my oil changes, after putting 4L in, the oil level sits at the top mark in the dipstick. This is after letting the old oil drain for a very long time too! I've checked the oil level daily for the past few mornings. It happens every time and it's confusing because all the threads say that it should take about 4.7L (With some just adding the full 5L) My next thought is to figure out if the dipstick I have is correct so could someone please tell me the length of the RB25DET engine oil dipstick?  I've checked images of some of the genuine dipsticks, but none of them have the length in it. https://justjap.com/products/genuine-nissan-engine-oil-level-dipstick-fits-nissan-r34-skyline-c34-stagea-c35-laurel-y34-cedric-gloria-rb25de-t-neo?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOortQXofgmiHVRKuIaiKuygL4k0Ewp68c3isGZk0vvKOJ7Yqf3iB However.... the engraving on the genuine ones say 05002 while mine says AA000. This makes me believe that maybe I have a wrong dipstick? I just want to confirm before I buy a new one. The car is a fresh import from Japan so I don't have details of the previous owner to ask him. Thanks in advance 🙏🏾
    • Sport. I didn’t rebleed it cause I just removed the slave and left connected.    I will change line and slave and see how it goes.
