That's exactly how it came with the OEM Sumitomo calipers, I haven't even cleaned them The only difference is that the calipers sit a bit deeper inside the rim due to spacers.

Gold on black would look good I reckon!

yeah I reckon it will follow suit as I might paint my engine cover similar colours, still undecided about wether it will even go back on or not.

I had gold calipers with the letters sanded back to a metal finish on the old 34. Looked mint! Anyways something to think about
