Its been said before and said again. The testing methodolgy is all wrong. Timken machines like the one used in the test are for greases, not motor oils. I wouldn't trust a single word written!

well u will have to take that up with 'Street Commodores magazine' but for now its the best test iv seen so ill go by it.

if u have a more accurate test plz post a link cauz i am interested to see..

well apparently if you read the current street commodores mag, its says that their testing was flawed in relation to that oil test done a number of months back and they are going to re-do the tests very soon with more applicable tests and results. they said they apologize for the misleading article they published.

If the oils really left that kind of scar on the machine, your camshafts would be toast in no time flat.

I'd like to see a proper test done on oil performance, it would be interesting.

Do UOAs n your oil and comapre the results on each change simple...cost you $30 a pop.
