Hey guys!

I've got myself a Series 2 R33.. and I'm looking to install both a turbo timer and immoboliser.

I've had mixed reports in regards to the turbo timer not functioning when the immoboliser had been activated. Waiting a couple of minutes for the turbo to wind down, then arming the security.

Are there any product combinations that work with no fuss and/or issues?

;)

Hey mate, I have a 96 series 2, 3 point alarm, external TT, no problems at all with integration. Most installers that tell you it cant be done just dont know how to do it. Which is great for you, it tells you they are not good enough to work on your car.

There are so many alarm/ turbo timer combinations it is not really possible to list them all.

Perhaps if you could give us a budget and a location (state) you would receive a little better advice.

I'm located in the ACT.

Well, I'm not all that fussed in regards to brand and such, I just want something that will do the job.. Perhaps $250-$300? I'm not sure where that will take me, but I guess just keeping in mind that I am budget concious.

Ahh ok, so I'm assuming it can get abit complicated to install these things. ;)

I do appreciate all the advice, and I'll be sure to look into it more.

I was speaking to another mate who advised that once a turbo timer had been installed BEFORE the immoboliser, you may pay abit more labour as they will need to rewire things etc..?

The Autowatch 456rli has both an immobiliser (3 of them) and a Turbo timer built in Security In Motion sell them and install at your place.
