What are the tell-tale signs of a worn gearbox???

I have an R33 GTS-T manual, and the gear box seems a bit more of an effort to change into gears, almost a crunch, but not quite. Also, when i go from first to second, and red line the car, then try to skip 3rd and go straight into 4th, it crunches and i have to wait for the revs to drop before it will go into fourth without clashing.

yeh its worn, u should try replacing gearbox fluid and add some additive, should improve it.......

All the warnings i have had are; Shifter gets lighter and sloppy, the box gets really lashy,whining noises etc

the sycrow on my four gear is failing in mine..... not a commen problem but does happen

If anything... my shifter is getting tighter to change into gears!

Mine too.Im getting a clutch installed next week so ill get them to put some good oil in the box.
