Well last time I was at one of these things it rained. A dry line will appear surprisingly quickly once is stops.

Danny, The next event is April 12th, I'm already signed up. Not sure if winng made a difference, but this is the first event the car hasn't spun, so maybe I'm onto something

It was good to see such support from the skyline crowd and nearly half of the drivers were 1st timers which is great to see more people getting involved. Once the time grouping gets sorted it'll be even better

i went and had a look for a hour or so and looked like great fun, ill more than likely get the stagea out onto the track and see how the heavy thing goes lol. Paul your car sounds great and bobbos gtr is f**kin crazyy

what sort of tyres and brake calipers/pads were u using Paul? and did u have any issues with brake fade?

i just hope my brakes are up to the task with the 1650kg boat i got, might need to upgrade the pads to something more track friendly

yer sounds like i might be ok then, what calipers do u have? gtst or brembos?

i got brembos, dba 5000 rotors, stock brembo pads and braided brake lines so maybe just a pad change as i cant see the stock pads being much good for track, though i havent tried them much yet to see.

With your setup you should be fine with a change of pads. Either Ferrodo or Pagid.

haha how is the bonnet scoop doing feeding air to that top mount? hahahaha

This event was awesome. Having an instructor drive your car can only be described as an 'experience'. I would pay the $150 for just those laps.
