Car "hopping" While Driving?

The car is a 180sx which has been converted to an RB25.

When driving slow the car sort of hops when it's in gear or when the clutch is out. It also does this sometimes at around 100km's when I back off.

I've had it up on the hoist and the centre bearing (The rubber part that the tailshaft goes through) is pretty much collapsed/screwed..

Would this be the problem? Or would it be something else?

Just speculation here but the unis can be sensitive to even minor changes in angle of the drive shaft.

Can you give me a bit more info on what you mean? The driveshaft is on more of an angle then normal from what I can see..
