Ok, I am talking about R32 GTR so no brembos, but I thought that the GTR calipers have larger pistons even though they use the same pads??? Please confirm/correct me there. And what is the standard rotor sizes for GTR and GTST - eg width and diamtre?

r33 gtst calipers are identical to 32 gtr ones.

dont r32 gtr have two types???

- non brembo (i.e. sumitomo) which like you said are the same as r33 gtst

- brembo which are different again.

to clarify we are talking about r32 gtst right?

to4gtr says they have the same pad as gtst? which one, the brembo or non brembo? (if the same is non-brembo that makes the pads the same as r33 gtst?)

anyone with a solid answer?

Yes

R32 gtr Sumitomos use the same pad as r33 gtst.

What's the question?

R32GTR callipers are Sumitomo, and basically the same as R33GTST Callipers

Some R32GTR's did come with Brembos, N1 and V Spec for example. But they are not anywhere near as common as the standard R32GTR Sumitomo callipers.

The difference between R32GTR and R32GTST callipers is that the legs on the R32GTR callipers are longer. Hence spacing the calliper 8 mm further out from the hub, thus using a 16 mm larger diameter rotor.

Brembo pads only fit Brembo callipers.

Did that answer the question?

 Cheers
