Bond for my money. Saw Casino Royale yesterday, best Bond movie in ages. I had my doubts about Daniel Craig as Bond but he is awesome, no more Brosnan crap! Back to basics was cool I reckon, very few gadgets, no Q, no Bond Theme music ( till right near the end )..... the move was better for it.

My thoughts exactly Rod. Back to basics Bond was awesome! No more saving the World from being blown up sh|te.

If you want to gadgets, go see a Matthew Broderick movie.

I would have liked to see the DBS a bit longer but all the recent Bond movies have had the car destroyed within 60 secs of driving.

With such a legendary and excelent name as James, im gonna have to go Bond.

who can say no to fast cars, action packed life, the entire british governmont behind u, an unlimited supply of $$$ pretty much, n all those glamours godamn ... some ppl have it so hard i tell ya, so damn hard ...

Bond is undoubtedly cooler.

Better cars, hotter women, and in several films, it was alluded that he had a 3-way. Did Jack ever accomplish the bedroom trifecta? I think not!

By this acheivement alone, Bond wins.

But factor in that when Jack takes a beating, he wakes up in some gutter or warehouse facility. In octopussy (and various other movies) when bond gets KO'd (usually be a suprise 'judo chop' from behind) he wakes up being cared for by a dozen or so nubile young lovelies.

Scantily clad young stunners > hospital/warehouse.

And finally, Bond drinks like a fish.

So he get's pissed, drives like a maniac, chases women whenever he can, ignores authority and often pruposely opposes it, understands cricket, can shoot can't seem to do much in the kitchen without burning stuff down, and the Yanks think he has a weird accent.

Hell, Bond could be an Aussie.

we all know that Bond is cooler/sexier/classier/what not... but if it comes down to it, I'd want Jack watching my back - I'm all for shoot first/ask questions later...

besides I get to drive an Aston Martin in January as a Christmas present (YAY! *hopes for a vanquish s* :P), so Bond isn't soo special anymore :O

I refuse to accept George Lazenby as an Aussie. He was shit as Bond, and married the chick. A definate no-no for Bond.

Marriage = no more 3 ways. (well, presumably anyway.) therefore Bond should batch it a while longer.

It's funny though, anyone who spent more than three days of their formative years in Australia, we adopt (or if they're cool and a kiwi) but if they screw up too bad, we never knew em.

Mel Gibson, Nicole Kidman, Russel Crowe...

Imagine Rusty as Bond! I can just see Q giving him the 'mobile phone of death' or villians slipping him a 'beat random people' drug.

Actually, it'd be pretty funny.

      Hmm. You're probably best off working out what the lobe centreline or even the LSA is for the stock cams, with VCT OFF. That's bound to be out there somewhere. Then, work on the assumption that the Kelford centreline is probably the same, and wouldn't be more than a couple of degrees away, if it is different at all. I'm very surprised that you needed to adjust the exhaust cam by 5° to get it on spec. That screams there's another problem somewhere. Anything from the belt being 1 tooth off (how many degrees is one tooth worth?) to simple user/measurement error on the degree wheel. I say this because Kelford, like most quality cam manufacturers these days, does a pretty good job of actually making the cams to spec, not relying on patching it up afterwards like we had to do back in the 80s.

      Besides packing it, you can also fill your pump through the oil filter inlet port. After cranking for what felt like an eternity without pressure, i fed a tube in through there and filled it with oil. Cranked for a few seconds after that and had pressure.

      My bet is there's a fuse somewhere you blew that feeds power to the ECU. Or you've bumped something out behind the dash board.

      Does anyone know what the centreline should be for the vct intake cam? On my cam spec card it just says VARI and doesn’t actually tell me what the centreline should be. I had to adjust my exhaust cam gear by about 5 degrees advanced so I’m guessing I would have to adjust my intake as well? Current intake centreline is 119 deg. Iv already asked kelford and they won’t respond, It’s the 246-A 262 cams.  thanks for the help guys
