Was talking to a mate of mine about this and he asked a question im very worried about. If i lose my licence and have to go back onto P's, will the 'no turbo/ V8 for P-platers' law affect me?

If its going to happen just change your street address to a mates in canberra :(

ah good to hear, would be a final kick to the nuts if i could never drive the car legally

:( was always going to keep the car registered at a mates place in ACT to avoid all the stuffing around.

Another thing, the officer never signed the ticket he gave me, all it has is a dash. Would i be able to get out of it because of this, or is it standard practice?

No u will not get off , if u complain enuff they will just send u another ticket with the correct info

this won't affect it. you'll have to cop it sweet. i saw an infringement notice recently that had:

- the wrong date

- no signature

- the wrong name

- envelope had *stars* around the delivery address :(

but the infringement notice was still binding.
