Power Fc Map Locks

Hey guys,

Just looking to unlock my pfc without going back to the old tuner. Are you able to create new maps by simply resetting the PFC through the ETC menu, and putting your new values in?

Is it as easy as that?

I know it can be done on the laptop via the previous tuner, but need to do it from where the car is at now.

You can reset the computer from the ETC menu. but all the maps will be reset back to standard.

Some tuners like to reset them others like to take a short cut and just edit the current tune.

Depends on how far out the tune is to what the tuner does. It is called DATA INIT or something i cant remember as my car has been off the road for 2 months - its the last one down on the ETC menu
