Need Help With New Nissan

Hey guys,

Just brought a r33 Skyline 4 door manual and im so happy with it!!!!

I just had a question regarding the cooling side of things. Does anyone know what the operating Temp is on these cars?

I fitted a davis craig electric thermofan system and I want to set the temperature when the fans kick in.

i think the thermo stat is about 82 degrees.

You can safely set the thermo fan to come on at 90, even higher. The fan doesn't need to keep the engine at the thermostat temp - that is usually achieved by the car moving through the air.

i cant get over how good the cooling on my 4 door gtst is

i aint never seen the temp guage get up above 1/3 and thats with an intercooler in the road

i'd say your themostat is dead (not closing properly so it is still letting coolant flow). you should have it sit at half way at normal operating temp.
