R32 headlights

Hey all

I was just wondering how i would go about putting in new highbeam bulbs in my R32 GTST.ie can i do it with a few basic tools, where should i buy the parts and how much would they cost.

My low beams and parkers are fine its only the high beams:)

Any assistance is greatly appreciated

Don't need any tools, just small hands.

Plug just slips off the back of the globe. Then there's a bayonet-style cover. Then a rubber boot, then a spring clip to hold the globe in place.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

its VERY hard ...and i stress the very... to remove the headlight from the car it took me hours and i gave up in frustration. Best find small hands like blind_elk said!

i agree small hands took me a few hours before i got my little cousin to doit (small hands)

Waz, he's talking about removing the globe, not the whole headlamp.

yeah sorry i am just asking about the globes.

Anyway i have done it now so thanks for the advice guys.

No my high beams work ....yay!!
