Your right Duncan there was no GTR's or Saker.

The racing was competitive and most importantly clean racing. It was intersting to watch a Subaru coupe (still road registered) in super TT beat everything on the track bar a group a commadore! He ended up with 2nd as tyres went off on the last lap.Damn..

Intermarque was good, Porsche v Masarati. The first porsche has 600+hp which showed the way it ripped apart the main straight but only just beating a twin turbo porsche with the massa in 3rd.

Thunder sports is basically the supersports class with the few extras added to it.The racing was quite entertaining.

There was a Formula holden with a 450hp 4.0 toyota V8 which was impressive. There is another one coming soon with a 600+ V8 which the driver stated as rewriting the record books at a few tracks. Will be interesting to see as he was a front runner in F5000 in the 70's, so age does not weary all of us..Funny, that the fastest cars over the weekend were two 20yr old F2's!

I remember a few years ago in Nations cup at Bathurst There was a silver R33 GTR the guy walled it hard on the run off at the end of conrod.
