4spot Calipers

hi

i've put some 4spot calipers on my cefiro as a budget upgrade - works well...

i've been told that they may even might be GTR calipers??? as they have sumitomo (i think thats right spelling) on the side of the caliper.

can anyone confirm this? or is this just normal for the gtst brakes

the GTST and GTR callipers are both made by sumitomo (so are Z32 brakes etc etc etc).

what size disk did they come with? also do they have any "ribbing" on them?

R32 GTR (sumitomo) and R33 GTST (sumitomo) calipers are exactly the same. so you could well have GTR calipers.

Some R32 GTRs (vspec?) came with brembo calipers, and i'm pretty sure all R33 GTRs came with brembos.

R32 GTST and Z32 (sumitomo) calipers are slightly smaller, and are easily distinguished by ribs on the surface of the calipers.
