Tune After Cooler Install?

I'm close to installing my new FMIC on my R34, I already have a PFC and boost kit that has already been tuned. I was told that it would need to be retuned after the istall but does anyone know why/what needs to be done, and how long can it be driven without the new tune as most workshops are closed. Thanx for any help.

if it has been tuned before the cooler install it should be safe to drive it without another tune for a while.

As to why you need a re-tune...

Your altering the cars specification. Each time you do this, you are changing the characteristics of the car, and this requires adjustment.

It wont cost what a full tune would, but its not a 5 second job either.

It should be ok to drive, just watch the knock levels and you should be fine
