Is it raining in SA??

We just had 3 days of it here and it rained out my drag day :spank:

So want to do a time in my car and she is going to be even quicker soon...Cant wait bring on 300+kws *rubshandstogether*

We have our first SAU NSW motorkhana this weekend...im entered and helping run it and should be loads of fun but nervous as first time :(

Yep Jess, rained pretty hard here this morning! Cleared up a tad now but still overcast. That sucks about the rained out drag day  Sounds like your baby is turning into one hell of a beast!!!

Awww thats suxs but good for you I guess...DAY OFF!!! WOOT! :(

I know so want to do a time!!! Yep its getting there :D and is going to be white soon...cant wait!!

i would say they wouldnt pass it if they see it, suppose it depends how obvious the cuts are too, cause they wont be pulling your bar off to look, so they might just see its there and move on.

f**king GWW (marion rd)

charged me $1200 2yrs ago for a full timing belt, water pump etc 100,000km service job

got the car in at Boostwerx today (got nothing but high praise for Troy and Shaun), been losing fluid hardcore. water pump needs replacing. I bet 2fknhundrey that GWW never replaced the water pump.................... overcharging bastards they are. rang em up, after having 2 tunes previously - $500-600 for tune (boostwerx - $200). I figured then they were over chargers, and since sampling Boostwerx in March this year for the first time, well, I wont ever be going anywhere else.

Certainly not GWW

If you are reading this BW; dude, why overcharge your customers, and dont do work that has been charged? That spells "losing customers" and ffs youve lost me thats for sure.

end rant. :D

SO f**kING STRESSED WITH THE KNEE OP ON THURS7AM

I stopped going to GWW a couple of years back now after being way overcharged to get my clutch looked at. I have found my self a nice little workshop down at lonsdale. The guys there mainly do rotars for drag cars but did a GREAT job on getting my car up and running smoothly ( especially as it was the first skyline he worked on) and he only charged 1/2 the hourly rate of GWW :) :)

good luck with the op Tangles

Flick:

Sad to see it go, but houses are never going to get cheaper and the longer you leave it the worse it gets. BUT once you are in, as long as you can afford it, skyline it up again!! ;)

Would you consider swapping rims with cash your way at all? If so, PM how much diff you would be looking for :)

    • What can't be done with a little bit of decking board or similar timber bolted to a hub flange via 2 wheel nuts is not worth talking about.
    • I noticed something. On the tps sensor and the sensor behind the adjustment screw is adjusted towards the far left. Are these screws supposed to be centered? (this sensor was in the same position before the tune as well)  Also attached a photo of where my car usually idles at when warm (sometimes a tiny bit above that). I think I might have screwed up the calculation and it might have better than I thought lol at 750rpm still not 650rpm though.
    • So for both general interest of engine health, and to rule out any coolant/oil issues, I organised an oil analysis done on the 125,000klm oil Results below, all good, just a bit of fuel dilution which I'm not too worried about
    • This is actually a really good way of measuring what wheels fit. If only there was a similar measurement between hub face and suspension :p That said, it's probably pretty simple to actually measure it all with the wheel off the car for the rear. The front is a bit more complex but..
    • Being the top Google search result for R34 wheel-related inquiries, lemme throw down my experience. I calculated that 100mm from hub face to wheel face is about the perfect fitment for my ENR34 sedan.  I've been running 18x8.5s, ET35, with a 1" spacer. So, 8.5in to mm = 216mm. 216/2 = 108mm. 108-35 = 73mm. 73+ 25 (1" to mm) = 98mm.  If you wanna get close to this on dif widths, here are the offsets you'll want: 9" - ET around 15mm 9.5" - ET around 20mm 10" - you're crazy, but ET around 30mm All these should fit perfectly on a non-widebody, non-GTR Skyline. Note that it's probably the absolute max, and you're probably better off running a couple degrees of camber in this config, but it looks great, super flush.
