Rb26 Swop

I have bought an RB 26 engine to fit in my Stagea but want to keep the automatic box ( for the moment) The engine would be standard internals with late r34 gtr garrett t25 turbos apexi induction , full exhaust and have an HKS evc5 fitted.

Question is ....What type of exhaust is best (not toooo loud) and will the auto box be ok with this set up as I have seen the occassional auto 260RS .Also keeping it auto presumably makes it much easier ?

Any help much appreciated as you seem to be miles ahead down under with stgea mods (and cricket)

Auto don't go with RB26, many threads on this.

yep as said above. There are no auto 260RS'.

The auto needs the Factory ECU to control the shifts. It cuts and retards the ignition to protect the gear box when shifting and make the changes smother.

I destroyed the Auto in my car with 140awkw and have now converted to manual.
