[melb] R33 Gtst Gearbox Rebuild

Hey everyone...

On the 23 of december santa gave me my gift early and decided its time for my gearbox to go sour..

Fat red bastard..!

Just wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere in melbourne (pref north east) to have my gearbox rebuilt?/fixed..

Its making a fair amount of noise (guessing bearings)... and crunches from 3rd-4th under load

Im going to change the oil today to VMX80 and see if that makes any difference.. but id still like to know where to get it rebuilt.. and the kinda cost i should be expecting

hey mate i got my 3rd to 4th gear rebuilt at santon gearbox centre which is in dandy but they did a good job with mine and it costed like 500-600 bucks for the rebuilt

how does the vmx80 feel in ur gearbox?

Vmx80 is good.. shifts much smoother now..
