33gtr Motor In 32gtr?

hey everyone. i have got a 32 GTR and i just got a 33 GTR motor complete. i rang a few people and they say they SHOULD be the same(wiring). My mechanic just had a quick look and he thought the wiring (plugs) were different. Has anyone done this conversion, and come across any problems?

what advantage did you get by going to the 33 GTR RB26? Do they put out more power?

power wise both should be the same, im guessing he did it because its a newer engine then getting a 32 engine.

hey i got a r33 gtr motor in my 32, and the apart from the age, the 33 rb26 doesnt have the same problem with the oil pump keyway thing (whats it called?) that the early r32 gtrs had.

hey guys, im new to the skyline scene, i was jsut wondering, what are the specific differences to the motors from different models? being like 32,33,34? different castings? are they the same layout to do with headbolts? i dont even know where to start, are they just asthetically different? with the main structure, casting being the same?

any info would be greatly appreciated

afaik, there isnt a huge difference across the range.

i know the R32 engine had some oil drainage/supply issues.

couldnt tell you if there are other differences though, its probably been covered a few times though, try searching.
