Does This Ford Falcon Xr6 Sound Like A Skyline?

Maybe its just me but I reckon it sort of does high up in the revs.

They do share the same engine layout afterall.

I think its a pretty nice car being 12 years old and nearly stock except for the exhaust system. (I know the owner)

Maybe its just the crappy sound quality but I'm damn certain they sound a little similar in the 2-6k rev range I've been in both cars.

Hahah yeah I think the lifters really need to be replaced!

I think its just wear and tear over time, not to mention excessive stress on the motor from floggin it all the time.

well i dont know about that, im sure sure mr 599 GTB might have to say something about that....

hehe no but i know where your comming from, the induction noise and the sound of an Rb through a good exhuast sounds IMO the closest thing to a jet from the outside.

at a motorkana in town there was a natro r33, and it sounded heaps like a falcon.

at low rpm a magna with a sports exhaust and cannon sounds a bit like a skyline.

all the natro skylines i've heard sound like aussie fords, but none of the turbos.
