I think I blew one of these today; wound down the window at the local shops, got home, and nada. Could hear the click, click as i switched from up and down (later checked the little black box inside the door, has two solenoids in it, etc), and that's fine, making me believe the regulator was dead.

Confirmed when I circumvented that little box and supplied power direct to the motor.

Anyone know how much these cost? I only got the car on Saturday, and I understand they can go at any time, so there's absolutely no bad feelings towards the seller.

I've currently got the window jammed up with bits of wood bolted inside the door strutting it up. :(

i had the same problem check the cog it might be stuck

Heh, I had enough trouble getting the door panel back off and then back on, let alone getting at it to check the cog. I'll have a look when I get a chance (hopefully tomorrow afternoon), but if not, then I think I'll just get it replaced, then if I can clear it, then I've got a spare.

Would Innox kill it? It's a silicone base lubricant, and all..
