Took some photos of my housemates GTR on the weekend.

still hard to take photos of white cars in direct sunlight though

Nothing's blown out on the car. All the cut lines are easy to see. Shadows show off the curves. etc etc etc.

Select the car out to a new layer in photoshop. Then muck with the background. So the car pops. Darken the ground, contrast the shit out of the background. Cut back the saturation on the entire background. Just play with it dude.

Car is as good as you'll get without shooting at a better time, or without external (really high powered) flashes pointed at the wheels . It's a great shot. Just needs some fine tuning.
