what equipment do u have?

i see u've got a 400D but do u konw what lens? or is it the kit lens? do u have an external flash or are u using the built in one?

one of my biggest hobbies (on par with cars) is photography. i've noticed that ur pics are quite underexposed and some could do with a fill flash to bring out more detail in the shadows.

a couple of other hints would be to set your camera on a longer exposure for the night beach shots and put it on a sturdy tripod. use a small aperture (8+) and try to get the horizon lines straight. look up what the rule of thirds is and try using it more. also don't clutter the pictures with too many subjects.

i'm always happy to discuss photography - so hopefully this helps a bit and u can always msg me with any other questions =)

built in flash. I didnt have a tripod with me when i was on the beach, I was resting the camera on a plank of drift wood lol :nyaanyaa:

Alot of night shots that I took, I took without a flash as I was trying to learn how to use the camera.. thats why they are under exposed. Also I wasnt allowed to use a flash for the aquarium shots, but I started using it half way thru anyway.

I have posted what lenses im using in here somewhere, but its 6am and Im to tired to remember right now or look for them haha

    • Hey, like MBS206 mentioned; I dropped off my short block and rotating assembly Monday. With a quick verification, he believes he can clear it up with just a hone and new rings but he will confirm once the rotating assembly is out. If I were you, I would either go stroker or just replace the block if it does need to be bored over to next size. Block is cheaper then forged pistons.
    • live in the UK, and London has introduced a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) that requires individuals to pay £13 if their car doesn’t meet the required emissions standards.   The standard specifies that NOx emissions must be less than 0.08 g/km (i.e., the vehicle must meet Euro 4 standards or better, which generally results in NOx levels of around 0.08 grams per kilometer).   I reached out to Nissan UK, and they advised me to contact Nissan Japan directly. Does anyone have contact details for Nissan Japan or any certifications of conformity that show the emission details or NOx levels for the RB25DET engine?   Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
    • these guys recommended to me and supplied custom 4 inch mufflers, couldn't be happier. They will spec a muffler to your preferred level of sound and know RB's well.  https://spmufflers.com.au/
    • Yeah this used to happen to me every year and a quick call would at least raise the agreed value back up / reduce the premium, but usually both.    That said for the first time on the renewal this year our agreed values went up or stayed the same over the fleet and the premium came down so that was a nice surprise.
    • I don't even go that hard core. I just say "how do you expect me to stay, when you increase my premium, and reduce the value of the car?"   Then play a game of shut the f**k up. Most of the time it's a computer that did the adjustment, and the people will happily change it around for you.
