CAI to stock box

thought i'd start this seeing the CAI thread that is sticky is more about partitioning a pod than about stock airboxes.

I have sepnt hours trying to find where the piping going into the stock airbox comes from. I decided that it opens up to under the headlight where there is minimal airflow.

i tried to take the headlight out to see more but failed miserably -> 2 hours of taking out rediculous bolts and then pulling the bloody thing till it didn't come off and i didn't want to break it! Then i tried to cut a hole into the pipe going into the airbox but couldn't get one bigenough to do anything so i gave up again (there's a trend here about giving up i know).

has anyone tried anything with the stock airbox still on (r32 here), like maybe removing the pipe going into the airbox (how?) so that there is just a hole directly from under the headlight into the airbox.

i need fresh air!

does ANYONE still have the stock airbox???

i very much doubt that they do...but if i'm not wrong i think the stock boxes had a ram air, which means there is a scoop for air

the stock air box gets air from under the hood. it goes through the scoop thus into the filter
