Now I know that theres a large market of mods for R32's and R33's out there, but how are things on the R34 front?

I know you can make your car go as fast as you want it to depending on the size of your wallet etc.

But what kind of mods would have to be done to an R34 GTT to match/better an Evo 6 or other "quickish when stock" cars.

Im asking because availability of mods is something I need to consider when I get a skyline.

much appreciated

Hey,

I have just swapped over from a 180sx that has an unlimited list of aftermarket goodies available to an R34 and I was quite suprised the lack of available parts and options for the 34, sure you can get alot of parts but there isn't much variety if you know what I mean.

But on the other hand I have found they respond very well to mods.

The only let down is the turbo, but there is a sponsor on here that does a Hi-Flow version quite cheap.

As you stated it all realy depends on one's budget.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Josh

generic cooler kits, turbo kits, injectors, universal fuel pumps, coilovers, ecu upgrades, wheels, gauges, exhaust systems..... i cant really see it a problem getting any of these to suit a R34 GT-t.

If you buy Japanese, or name brand, you shouldnt have any issues with finding stuff.

Greddy (Trust)/Blitz cooler kits

bolt on Garrett turbo upgrades to suit stock manifold or a Greddy/Trust kit.

Injectors (Nismo/Sard etc)

Bosch/Walbro/Nismo fuel pumps

Tein/HKS/G4 coilovers

Power FC/Haltech/Microtech/Wolf/Autronic ecu ugrades

Wheels, anything Jap like Volk/Rays or a GTR wheel

Gauges, (Blitz/HKS/Defi/Greddy/Autometer)

Exhaust, maybe X-Force does a bolt on kit, otherwise something Japanese.

Would be as easy to mod a R34 as it would any Skyline Id say, especially if your willing to buy brand new. Obviously the second hand market wont be any where near as strong as the R32/R33 market as the R34 hasnt been around as long.

Its already pretty big. Prices of R34s have dropped in the past year making it a more affordable for R32 nd 33 owners to upgrade to.

Lack of parts? I don't think so...there are so many online traders/sponsors importing stuff in from Japan its not funny..I struggle to resist throwing more $$ into the 34 every single day :)
