good speakers. mind you the ones you already have VS the ones he has are night and day difference.

What do you mean the ones I already have???!!

I have 10 year old stock crappy speakers that crackle and pop, and only one front speaker works!

What set of splits would you recommend, preferably around $600, but up to $1000 if there is a noticable difference in sound quality. Music listened to is mostly nice clear vocals, some pop, some dance, some accoustic, bit of everything.

Would it be a set of Rainbows? If so, what ones?

it would be. CS265P to be exact.

I think ill be the most qualified to answer that question considering i have installed and listened to the entire Rainbow range up to the Power series.

I have also installed and auditioned their complete range of woofers.

If i didnt think they got the goods, why would i spend $30k on a TT Supra and decide to order full RAINBOW set up consisting of splits and subwoofers, run of Sinfoni amplifiers and pay out of my own pocket. Normally i would have accepted the free equipment which was offered to me from various distributors but i choose to pay for class.

There are strict commercial agreements that us dealers have with the distributors thats why there is a dealer in every state and there will be no INTERNET SALES.

Trav the quality of Rainbow is well known and the distributor only wants one dealer per state that can actually install and support the product.

I don't disagree with you re the Quality of Rainbow gear, and I WILL be buying rainbow speakers from you, just not sure on the particular model yet.

I like to do my research using multiple sources, and speak to different people about things, to get a range of opinions & experiences. It's a bit hard to get those opinions though, because of the exclusivity of the product, and limited market share.

That's why i've asked some questions here, which I agree you would be the most qualified to answer - When I see you I'll talk rainbow rainbow rainbow with ya - but seeing what other people say too!

Chris - is it true there are only 3 dealers who sell Rainbow audio gear in Australia?

There will be another 3 dealers coming on board very soon, Audio Express i.e. Chris will be one of them, the other two are Phatt Audio Concepts in Victoria and Motoquipe in Noarlunga in South Australia.

The retailers details will go up once we have received their account applications sign sealed and delivered agreeing to our trading terms and conditions.

I guess you can always ask George to get maybe a car or two that hes installed Rainbow's in and have a listen for yourself?

By all means, buy why you feel is right for you and your budget, might be or might not be Rainbow, but George can help you out as I'm sure he has more than Rainbow he can demo for you.

      Thanks Mate, I did know you could do that but i know there is a pump out there that you can bolt on and it all lines up. I was told about it and then forgot the model, I figure if i am pulling it apart i will just put a new one on

      You can also remove the veins from the HICAS portion of your existing pump.

      Trying to swap the rear subframe on my R34 and can't remove the L-shaped stay brackets between the front subframe mounts and the sill/chassis. I'm in the UK so rust is a problem. I've used loads of WD40 and then Tunap 103 for days beforehand. I backed off the bolts forward a bit, backward a bit repeatedly for ages to try and avoid snapping. They have all moved a few full turns. The one I've spent most time on has come loose and I can turn with fingers, and it will pull down and push up 2-3mm. But it won't come out. I can tighten it back up and loosen it off again repeatedly but it still won't come out. I assumed there's a captive nut inside but if that's broken loose then I can't understand why I can always tighten the bolt back up - I'd expect it to just spin both ways. Any ideas what's happening here? I can't visualise what's inside there to cause this.

      Cheers, yeah it was recently imported, is the actual Nissan not an Infiniti so will have to do some chasing around for parts.    Any ideas if the side skirts from a Q50 would fit on the 400r?

      I remember reading that there’s a power steering pump from a modern car—possibly a Mazda—that bolts directly onto an RB engine and lines up perfectly, making it a great option for HICAS removal. Unfortunately, I’ve forgotten which model it came from. Does anyone know what vehicle this pump is from? Any help would be appreciated.
