Ali Radiators

Hey has anybody got or used one of the aliminium Radiators from Just Jap? They seem cheap, just want to get some idea of the quality and the effectiveness of them before i purchase one.

Have'nt seen any bad comments about them. My only concern about purchasing one would be aluminium being a poor heat transferer..dont know if thats a word. So I assume it would have to be a fair bit thicker. I went to the last hotrod show at the casino and ran into an old hotrodder guy at his stand and got to talking...as old guys do . They do custom rads for landspeed cars and hotrodder stuff. So its pretty much a custom job every time, i'm sure they've been around a long time and the welding looked good. Prices seemed on target for thick ali rad.

Thats probably a much better option. PWR do them to but the price is a bit of a killer. How is the "R" goiong anyway? Seen the drags in it yet?

A mate of mine is selling some brand new radiators, I'll check how much they are but I can find out if you want?? They are a bit serious coz they are just about as big as an intercooler core

Would an R32 GTR radiator fit in an R32 GTSt? plenty of 32R stuff but no gtst..

i have one in my 33, had to cut the shroud slightly to get the shroud to sit down nicely, my car is off the road atm so no long trips in it, but from what i have driven it, temp stays quite cool

gtr rad will fit into gtst...though u may want to check ur clutch fan...if that wobbles..kiss ur rad goodbye..

i killed two rads this way..cuz they are thicker than normal gtst rads.

So all the mounts etc are in the right spots, but how much thicker are we talking?

well china (mine anyways) was tri core, gtr was twin. exact measurements im not sure....either that or my water pump/fan was really f**ked.
